  • There is ample street parking in the neighbourhood. The apartment is located outside the restricted traffic zone.

    Parking is 0.70€hr between 9am & 2pm. Outside these hours, Sundays and public holidays, the parking is free.

  • Casa Rosa is located in the quiet residential district of San Lazzaro and a 10 minute walk from the Historic Centre of Lecce.

    The neighbourhood is very well serviced for daily food shopping as well as only a 10 minute walk to the commercial heart of the modern city centre.

    The Tramontana and Levante suites are located on the 2nd floor up 5 flights of stairs from street level.

  • Lecce is located in the heart of the Salento region on the southern tip of Puglia.

    Travelling by air, Brindisi airport is a 40 minute drive and Bari International airport is a 2 hour drive.

    Travelling by train, Roma Termini is a 5.5 hour direct journey.

    While a car is convenient to explore the many towns and beaches of the region, Lecce is very accessible va public transport and once at Casa Rosa, the heart of the city is all accessible on foot.

  • In short, any time of year in Lecce is beautiful, it just depends on the kind of stay you are looking for.

    June, July & August is the peak season with blue skies, high temperatures and easy access to the region’s many beautiful beaches.

    If its a more relaxed atmosphere you’re after, with lower temperatures and slower pace to explore Lecce and the many other cultural sights of Salento, then spring in April & May or Autumn in September, October & November are perfect.

    If it’s a longer stay or a remote working escape, then December to March provides the most competitive rates and a city without tourists. During this time there are also many festivals and events that allow you to experience the unique culture of this cosmopolitan city.
